We are switching to our Winter hours. We are extending our hours a couple of evenings a week, so effective November 1st our hours will be as follows:
Mon and Wed 10-7:30*
Tues, Thurs, Fri 10-6:30*
Sat and Sun 1-5*

 Our yoga classes have begun and they are great. It is reasonably priced, we are lit solely by salt lamps and now that it is getting dark earlier and with our relaxing music, the atmosphere is pure Zen. There is still room available for the 10 week sessions. You have only missed 2 classes which can be made up at the end of the 10 weeks!  Dana is able to provide very indivualized attention so even though it is a small group the routine is still customized to fit your needs.  Just dress comfortably, bring a beach towel or a yoga mat. Feel free to come in early (no later than 6:45)  and get a head start by catching a complimentary 30 minute Migun treatment, on us.
 The last two sessions focused on a few very simple and relaxing stretches and how to breathe properly. In time, Dana promises we will all be breathing deeply from our core instinctively. It will help all of us better deal with stress and the hormones created by stress by properly oxygenating our bodies and breaking the habit of the shallow breathing that contributes to our feelings of fight or flight. Dear Susan,

I wanted to take a moment and reflect on my past week.  It has only been 7 treatments since I was introduced to Migun. My life has been one of constant pain for the last 24 years.  It began with severe brainstem and head injuries from an auto accident in 1984, that was aggravated by a low back injury about 5 years later from trying to get back to work.  I would be in pain when I went to bed and would wake up early due to burning back pain.  My doctors have told me that I should not stand too long or sit too long. 
                                                     
I have experienced a new joy in life since being introduced to a technique called Whole body therapy through my introduction to Migun.  Within the first 3 days I noticed a difference.  I am able to sleep for a full 8 hours without waking to pain.  My energy level is greatly increased. I have lost 7 pounds after only 5 treatments, with no other explanation other than adding Migun treatments to my day.

I have tried a similar product called Ceragem. But Migun is different!  With my issues, my wife, who is a licensed Massage Therapist and I have learned much about the human body and alternative therapies. What impresses us is how well engineered the Migun bed is in terms of its precision in targeting each side of the spine called the Meridian path. Put simply, the Meridian is a cluster of pressure points which influence and correspond to every area of our bodies. I apologize for sounding like some type of medical professional because I am not. I’m only a permanently disabled man who has become painfully intimate with suffering over the past 24 years.    

In short, Migun has restored my life.

Did you happen to catch SUNDAY MORNING on CBS this last weekend that included an entire segment on specialty salts featuring our favorite: 100% pure, pristine, Himalayan Salt?

So what's the big deal? Why should you be concerned about what type of salt you are using?

Over ninety percent (90%) of the world's supply of salt is used in industrial applications that require pure sodium chloride. The chloride component is actually chlorine. The excess is used as a preservative in the foods we eat and packaged for your salt shaker.
